Author: Alice Spencer

Alice Spencer is fifteen and has just finished her Junior Certificate in Coláiste Pobail Osraí, but for her last three years of secondary education she will be attending Kilkenny College. Her main hobby is creative cookery, for which she was highly commended for six cupcakes based on the 2012 Olympic Games (for synchronized swimmers). In 2012 she came second in the International Poetry Competition at Cuisle in Limerick for a poem called "Dá mBéach". She plays ukulele and sings as well. Alice bases her poetry on personal events in the hope that other people will relate to them.
