It’s in our nature to do what is right.

Good prevails.

It’s in our nature to do what is right.

Good prevails.

It’s in our nature to do what is right.

Good prevails.

It’s in our nature to do what is right.

Good prevails.

It’s in our nature to do what is right.

Good prevails.

It’s in our nature to do what is right.

Good prevails.

It’s in our.

It’s nature.

Nature.

Natu.

Na.

N.

Would we extinguish ourselves if it meant good prevailed?
Is it in our Human nature?

To obliterate every last atom?
Is it in our Human nature?

To obliterate millions of years?
Would good finally prevail if we hit self destruct?
Is it in our Human nature?

To start anew from ground zero?

Is it in our Human nature to self delete all our 1s and 0s?
Who’s to say?

After all. It’s our nature. H_uman N_ature.

Author's Note
I wrote this poem one night after thinking something along the lines of: “Well, we as humans always seem to try to do what is right, but what if the right thing to do is to kill ourselves off? Would we still do what is right?”, Quite existential I know!

I was also listening to a Radiohead song called “Idioteque” earlier that day, and the lyrics in that song are very repetitive and rhythmic. So that also influenced this poem.
